Ceasefire is a simple 2-player co-op platform game. You can only win by working together with the other player.
It was originally made for speakers of Arabic and Hebrew. One player might get instructions in their language and then has to communicate with the other player to get past the puzzle. Sometimes it's as simple as just following and trusting the other player.
The game now supports 20 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, Hebrew, Greek, Turkish, Serbian, Croatian, Polish, and Armenian.
Inspiration
The Christmas Truce, 1914
In Christmas 1914, five months after the start of the First World War something remarkable happened. German and Allied troops took a brief break from the horror, misery and violence of the trenches and had a spontaneous game of football.
The generals on both sides were horrified. One game of football, sharing cigarettes and rations can undo months of dehumanising propaganda.
